Globe Annual Candytuft – 50 Seeds

Candytuft is a member of the mustard family that requires well-drained soil but tolerates a wide range of soil types including poor soils and very alkaline soil. It is a cottage garden favorite, works well in small spaces, planted along walkways or also works on sunny slopes or as a container plant.

•Garden Flowers
•American grown seeds
•Height: 14"
•Annual
•USDA Zones: 1-12

Planting Instructions:
Direct sow in the fall for the earliest blooms, or after the last spring frost for early summer bloom. Plant more every several weeks for continuous flowers. Though these plants do not respond well to transplanting, they can be started indoors in peat pots. Sow just below the surface keeping it evenly moist and at a temp around 65-70°. Germination usually occurs in 15-20 days. Keep the plants well watered, but not soggy. They can tolerate short periods of drought and grow best in well draining soil. They do not grow well in shade and prefer cooler temps, so they may die back some during the summer heat. This is a very quick blooming flower taking just over a month after germination to reach bloom.

•FREE SHIPPING on all orders of $35 or more.
